Rebecca Gibney's shock new weight gain...for movie role

Packed to the Rafters favourite Rebecca Gibney has gained around 20 kilos, reports Woman's Day - but it's all in the name of art.

This isn't Rebecca Gibney, but her hot TV son Hugh Sheridan and his awful voice. You need to watch this in mute.

Gibney has gone all Renee Zellweger and has put on the weight for a forthcoming movie project. She will co-star  in Mental opposite Toni Collette. The film will be directed by PJ Hogan (My Best Friend's Wedding, Peter Pan and Muriel's Wedding).

Gibney tells WD that the experience is liberating:
"It’s like being pregnant. You can eat whatever you want. In the beginning it was like, ‘Wow! Ice-cream, peanut butter, everything"
I swear, this is the same quote Renee Zellweger kept churning out when she gained all that body weight for Bridget's Jones Diary.

To see Rebecca with her fuller figure, head over to Woman's Day here (I'm not going to even try to put the image on my blog, I'm sure it's copyrighted down to the core especially for a new issue).
