Gay birds are in it for life! Must be Shania fans.

Gay birds in Southern California are loyal mates in it for life, apparently. A recent study found that all male zebra finch birds stayed with their male mate even after female birds were introduced.

Guess these birds are fans of Shania Twain. They clearly adhere to her golden rule that "if you're not it it for love, I'm outta here".

The study's lead researcher, Julie Elie said that "Relationships in animals can be more complicated than just a male and a female who meet and reproduce, even in birds".

So these birds have found their life partner and will live happily ever after with their gay mate. Fucking birds! Why can't it be just that easy for the rest of us.
