Leona Lewis' Shock New Sound with "Collide"

Leona Lewis has debuted her brand new single Collide. Take a listen here:

Leona has updated her sound by jumping onto the electropop/dance bandwagon, perhaps since her last album Echo spectacularly flopped.

For me, Collide is just okay. I like the chorus but the whole thing sounds a little too Alexis Jordan for my taste. And Alexis does it better.

If Leona flops again with this album era, obviously Simon Cowell and his Syco music label to which she's signed to have some sort of favouritism going on since they never gave the likes of Joe McElderry so many chances after so much commercial failure.

To her credit though, Leona and her management team should be commended for taking risks with this new project. I particularly liked the look she rocked during this year's Grammy week:
