Today I was reading about music producers and somehow got onto a page about a New Zealand producer...which then led me to his work with Bic Runga. Made me instantly recall her one hit Sway from 1997.
What a memory bullet. It's so weird that I remembered the melody perfectly! This song makes me remember a funny story my cousin told me about it. My cousin's school was having a talent show and two girls tried to sing Sway. After few moments in, the entire audience started cruelly laughing at them. One of the girls fled the stage in tears. The other girl who was playing the guitar apparently choked up but sang the rest of it. And then she died.
Nah, I'm just kidding about that last part!
